Most unromantic Christmas present from spouse?

My 5 yr old spilt the beans that my darling husband has bought me (gasp) a hose reel for Christmas. I found a receipt in the trash that confirms it. To put it in perspective, I do not enjoy gardening - although I do it so our yard doesn’t look appalling. We also already own a hose reel and several hoses. This tops the year he bought me an iron and an ironing board. What’s the most unromantic and unwanted thing your partner has ever bought you?

It’s not all of my homework :\. It’s only the ones i had trouble with. And i’m not sure how to check it. I can’t check all of them with a calculator.

question about fluid dynamics?

if i have a garden hose still half coiled up on a hose reel, and iam pumping water through it. does the pump work harder to push around the coil or not?
no- there isnt any kinks. i know the further the distance, the more torque i need. but i wondered whether the water going up hill through the coil would regain the spent energy on the downhill return.

I work with my hands a lot outside. I was unraveling the garden hose and it was tangled on the reel. I pulled it hard and my finger smashed against the deck. My nail’s first few layers came off! Now all that’s left is one tiny layer and the rest of my nail is jagged and thin! Will nail polish strengthen it? I am so afraid I end up seriously hurt or that it bleeds. Suggestions?

I live in an area with a BUNCH of large frogs. Is there anything out there that will scare away the frogs from getting into my belongings in my yard? They are living in my hose reel, and it’s so gross to see them every time I pull my garden hose out to water my plants. They also get into my garage and anything else that is out. If you know any tricks to scare them away, please help!
